You would not save a significant amount of money if you decided to get this piece without the silver and stay with the 38 grams of 14k yellow gold. Silver is significantly cheaper than gold and it would not be worth making the piece weigh have as much to only save approx. $110.00 I would recommend that you either get the piece filled entirely with gold or that you leave it the way it is.
