Have you heard about Audemars Piguet‘s latest advertising stunt? The famed Swiss watch-maker has recently launched new advertisements on the spaces guaranteed to be seen by the affluent: New York City’s heliports.
The Audemars Piguet marketing team certainly thought outside the box for this one. The watches, starting at $15,000 and going up to almost six figures, are certainly not affordable by everyone. Instead of mass marketing, the team focused on capturing the attention of those most likely to buy the watch: the wealthy. Who else do you know that commutes daily by helicopter?
The heliport is located on the east side of NYC on 34th street. This is an amazing example of smart marketing.
