Diamond earrings for women and gold earrings in NYC: this is the women's earrings collection at TraxNYC on 47th Street, for yourself or for her. Flower earrings and diamond studs lead the page; beside them sit hoops, sapphire pairs, clusters, heart earrings, black diamond pairs and pearls. The pairs that sell most are flower diamond earrings and 14K gold diamond studs, lab-grown studs among them. The metals run 14K, then 18K and 10K gold, and a few .925 silver pairs.

426 women's earrings live here, 348 of them 14K; 108 are studs and 55 hoops by title.
Most bought here was a diamond flower, 499 in the year; the 2 ctw lab-grown stud came next, 173.
Buyer's guide
How to choose women's earrings by kind, stone and size
What to decide before you buy a pair, from the kind and stone to the back it wears
Pick the kind first, then the stone, grown or mined. Diamond studs and diamond flowers are the best sellers here, and either makes a first pair you can wear every day. Take it in 14K gold. Keep it 5 to 8 mm across, the everyday width. Few listings say which back a pair has, so ask the desk before you pay.
The stones below are drawn at their true size: on most phones right away, anywhere once you check the screen with a quarter. Pick a size; to see it on you, hold the phone beside your ear in a mirror.
1. Check the screen with a quarter
Lay a quarter flat on the screen, over the coin, and move the slider until the coin on the screen is exactly the size of yours.
2. Pick a size, carats a stone
1 ct a stone, 6.5 mm, the most bought hereThe most bought here: 1 ct, 6.5 mm
A 1 carat round diamond measures about 6.5 mm across. 7 of the 31 stud pairs here that name a weight are 1 carat a stone, 2 ctw the pair. It is the most bought size here: 34 percent of the stud pairs sold here in the past year that name a weight.
Stud earrings are sold by ctw, the total weight of the pair: half of it sits on each ear, so a 2 ctw pair is two stones of 1 carat. The stones are drawn as round diamonds; at the same weight a princess or emerald cut looks a little smaller and an oval or pear a little longer.
The stones are drawn as round diamonds by our rule of thumb for a well-cut round of that weight, not a listing's measurement. The pairs are the listings live here on September 25, 2026 that name a weight; the most bought size reads the stud pairs sold here in the year to September 25, 2026 that name a weight.
Kinds: stud, flower, hoop, huggie and drop earrings for women
For daily wear, buy a stud or a flower. A stud sits on the lobe and nothing hangs. A flower sets small stones as petals around a center, and our best seller is a diamond flower. Many titles never say how a pair is worn, so trust the photo over the name.
Hoops come next, plain or set with diamonds, and nearly all go out in yellow gold. A huggie is a small hoop worn tight to the lobe. Drops hang below the lobe, and there are only a few.
Stones: diamond, sapphire and gemstone earrings, lab-grown or natural
Choose diamond unless you came for color. Diamond is the bulk of what we sell, and the sapphires are mostly set in flowers.
Grown or mined comes next. Nearly every listing with a carat in its title is grown. A mined one is rarer; grown pairs gather on lab-grown diamond earrings. All but 12 diamond listings name the origin, so ask us about those and about any colored stone.
Carat and size: how many carats for diamond studs, hoop size in mm
Start at one carat a stone. It is the stud size that sells best. A title's ctw adds both earrings together, so ask for the pair marked 2 ctw. A title that says only Ct may mean a single earring. For a diamond stud in each ear, open diamond stud earrings, where studs for women and men share one page.
Hoops go by diameter, and the middle of our hoops is about an inch. Under 20 mm, a hoop sits close to the lobe. From 40 mm up is the big hoop. Listed grams may be the pair or one earring, so ask.
Metal: 14K or 18K gold earrings, yellow, white or rose
Take 14K for every day, and start on 14K gold earrings. It is the usual pick, and harder than 18K, so posts and settings hold up. 18K gold earrings carry more gold and a deeper yellow. The best-selling flower is 10K, paler and harder still.
Pick the color on the listing. Most offer all three, and yellow is the favorite. For plain gold with no stones, see gold earrings for women. If your ears react to metal, ask us what a white pair is finished with before you order, since no listing says.
Backs: screw back, push back or hinged hoop
Ask for a screw back on a pair you will wear all day. It turns onto a threaded post and stays until you turn it off. A push back slides on and off fast, fine for a pair you change often. A hinged hoop swings through the lobe and clicks shut, with no back to lose.
The listings rarely name the back, so ask the desk which a pair has and whether it takes a screw back. The live chat answers first, and the desk takes calls and texts on 212-872-9692 once a person comes in at 10 AM ET.

Questions we get in the store
Studs, hoops or drops: which earrings should I buy?
Buy a stud or a flower for a pair you will wear every day. Those two kinds sell best here. Hoops come next, nearly all in yellow gold, and drops are few. Start with the women's studs.
Lab-grown or natural diamond earrings for women?
The pick is hers. Lab-grown and natural diamonds of the same grade look the same; a natural diamond costs more. We don't sell diamonds as an investment, and resale value isn't guaranteed for either. The origin is on nearly every listing, so check that line before you buy.
How many carats should a pair of diamond studs be?
One carat in each ear is where to start, the size picked most on the round lab studs. On a title, ctw counts both earrings, so that pair reads 2 ctw. A title with only Ct may mean one earring, so ask.
More questions we get
14K or 18K gold earrings, and yellow, white or rose?
Take 14K for daily wear. Choose 18K for more gold and a richer color. Yellow outsells white and rose, and you pick the color on each listing. If your ears are sensitive, ask the desk what a white pair is finished with.
Screw back or push back: which earring back stays put?
A screw back stays put best, because it turns onto a threaded post. A push back is quicker to take on and off. Few listings name the back, so ask which one in the live chat, or, from 10 AM ET, text the desk at 212-872-9692 before you order.
What size hoop earrings should I get?
Start at about an inch across, the middle of the hoops here. A hoop under 20 mm hugs close to the lobe. At 40 mm and up it is the big hoop people notice. Most hoops print their diameter on the listing.
How much do diamond earrings cost?
The price is on each listing. The carat and whether the stones were grown or mined move it most. The karat and the grams of gold count too. For a quote on a pair made your way, write to the live chat, or text 212-872-9692 from 10 AM ET.
Can I return earrings, and how fast do they ship?
Yes. Earrings never worn or altered can go back inside fourteen calendar days of delivery, after customer service clears them at service@traxnyc.com or 212-391-3832, on our return label. Refunds lose the label's cost and five percent for restocking. Made-for-you pairs ship later and are final.
Visit our store at 64 W 47th Street in New York's Diamond District; text or call first, and a jeweler tells you what the store has that day, so you can plan your visit. Buyers' own words are on the reviews page. The chat on this page answers at night, and a person answers calls and texts at 212-872-9692 from 10 AM ET. Most listings that name the color say yellow, white or rose gold, and some state whether the diamonds are natural or lab-grown. Most hoops list a width in millimeters. For him, see earrings for men, and every style is on gold earrings.
