One. The karat. Fourteen karat is fourteen parts pure gold in twenty-four. Ten wears a little tougher. Eighteen holds the most gold, and it's worth it if you have the budget.
Two. The link. Cubans and ropes are our two best sellers. A Cuban lies flat, a rope is twisted, and a Franco is built like a box, so it looks full from every side.
Three. The weight. Two chains can look the same and hold very different amounts of gold. Our 6 mm Cuban comes from 22 grams to 57, so read the grams: more grams, more gold.
Four. Read three numbers: weight, length and width. Width is the look: here are three, five and eight millimeters on the same neck. Our chains aren't sold by the gram, but the heavier the chain, the better the price you pay for the gold.
Five. The length. The chains that come back for size are usually too short. Twenty-two inches is the length our buyers order most, and keep. And we can make any chain longer or shorter.
