Pave setting is a very unique form of securing a gemstone. There are a few types of pave setting, mainly pre-set, micro or hand setting. The hardest of these is the hand-setting which can be done on almost any metal surface. Best used on icing out almost anything that has not been originally designated for diamond setting such as sides of diamond watches, bands, rings and almost anything with a thick metal surface.
