Emerald is a very special green variety of beryl, because its color comes from Chromium and Vanadium (and sometimes Iron too, whereas other green beryl got their very deep green from Iron.
The colorformers of the emerald can give it an inimitable blue-greenish color which is much sought after.
Those emeralds come from Columbia, where the deposits of Muzo, Chivor, and Coscuez give the most beautiful emeralds of the world. Columbia is also the biggest emerald producer worldwide.
This gemstone can also be found in Afghanistan - for good quality emeralds - or in Africa, such as Zimbabwe and Zambia, in Asia - Pakistan and India -, in Brazil and even in the U.S, where they have an intense green color.
The first mined deposits were in Egypt, “the Cleopatra Deposits”, where the Romans bought lots of emeralds. To meet the increasing demand of the “Cleopatra Emeralds”, Egyptians started to sell green tinted glass to the Romans, and created the first gemstone imitation.
The other historical deposit is Habachtal, in Austria, was also famous at the Roman Period.
These deposits are no longer active.
Because they tend to contain a lot of water, emeralds generally has very specific inclusions that gemologists call “garden”. Clean emeralds are very rare, and to make them look cleaner emerald dealers put oil (almond or santal oil) or, more recently, resin to fill these “garden” inclusions, unify the color and make it look flawless.
Oiling, which is has been used for centuries now, is considered as a traditional treatment.
Because of its color, emerald is associated with hope.
Carat weight is the physical weight of the diamond; 1 Carat equals 1/5th of a gram. But that's not what's important, what is important is that the higher the carat weight of your jewelry or diamond the more it will shine, provided that you backed your carat weight with other characteristics that make the diamonds so special. We give unparalleled advice on how to decide what the most practical combination of diamond characteristics are most suitable for you and your jewelry. Listed below are a few combination with specific jewelry objectives, figure out your objective and the method of reaching it should be listed above.
High Quality
After years of being a jewelry consumer you will finally realize that quantity will not beat out quality, and for this you want to go with a minimum of VS1 F color. However, we rarely manufacture jewelry with this grade on a massive scale simply because few customers can appreciate it, pay for it, or even recognize it when they see it.
G-H
G color is the finest achievable color that can be sought after for being near colorless without breaking the bank. H is a close second but has a noticeable difference to a diamond professional. A grade between G and H is what we call G-H which is a great way of enjoying near colorless diamonds without paying the colorless price.

Emerald Cut
Emerald cut diamonds have a rectangular shape with cut corners. It is known as a step cut because its broad, flat planes resemble steps on a staircase. Inclusions and inferior color are more pronounced in emerald cut diamonds, so pay close attention to clarity and color grading.
Most common ring size for men is 10 and 7 for women. However, as you may be well aware, we are all different and sometimes need our rings to fit our individual finger sizes. In that case we need a professional jeweler to size our ring down or up. Unfortunately not all rings can be sized and some can only be sized just a little. Usually this factor is determined by the diamond setting and over all architecture of the ring. However if you find a ring you like and it doesn't seem to be available in your size feel free to contact us about custom ordering the ring in your size straight out of the factory. If you have patience this is the best way to order complicated settings such as invisible in your size.

14k
14K also know as 585 because it is 58.5% pure gold. In our opinion this gold is the most practical way of manufacturing diamond jewelry because of its hardness and overall quality. 14K gold is ideal because it has the perfect balance of gold and other metals making it very malleable and very sturdy when completed. 14K gold is the best bet for any jewelry that weighs over 20 grams.

When dealing with precious metals the total value is determined by the weight of the metal, usually per gram and the labor involved in working with it (such as polishing, casting etc.). The heavier the weight of the metal in your jewelry the more value it has and the more you will have to pay for it. Below is a list of weights that we recommend when purchasing a certain type of jewelry.
Mens Rings - 12-25 Grams
Mens Earrings- 1-5 Grams
Mens Braceletes 30-150 Grams
Mens Chains -20-150 Grams
Mens Pendants/Crosses - 20-60 Grams
Note: This weight mostly pretrial to gold jewelry.
