Gemstones: Sapphire

Sapphire is the most appreciated gemstone in the U.S,
It belongs to the same Gemstone family as Ruby: Corundum.
Sapphire and Ruby are very resistant, ranked 9 on the Mohs scale just behind Diamond.
Sapphire can have every colors, not just deep blue, whereas Ruby is just red, pinkish or purplish...
The most sought after is the “Padparadscha” sapphire which is half orange-half pink and only comes from the South of Sri Lanka. Padparadscha means “color of the lotus blossom” in Sinhalese.
For blue Sapphires, the most gorgeous and expensive ones were Sapphires from Kashmir, but this deposit is no longer active.
Nowadays, the best ones come from Sri Lanka -which is the best deposit for any kind of sapphires - they’re called “Ceylon” or “Ceylonese” sapphires and have a cornflower blue color.
But the biggest deposit worldwide is Australia which produces rather greenish sapphires.
You can also find lots of sapphire deposit in the rest of South Asia, and even in Africa.
Gemstones Weight: 6.00 ct
Carat weight is the physical weight of the diamond; 1 Carat equals 1/5th of a gram. But that's not what's important, what is important is that the higher the carat weight of your jewelry or diamond the more it will shine, provided that you backed your carat weight with other characteristics that make the diamonds so special. We give unparalleled advice on how to decide what the most practical combination of diamond characteristics are most suitable for you and your jewelry. Listed below are a few combination with specific jewelry objectives, figure out your objective and the method of reaching it should be listed above.
High Quality
After years of being a jewelry consumer you will finally realize that quantity will not beat out quality, and for this you want to go with a minimum of VS1 F color. However, we rarely manufacture jewelry with this grade on a massive scale simply because few customers can appreciate it, pay for it, or even recognize it when they see it.
Gemstones Clarity: Free of inclusions
Diamond clarity is a quality of diamonds relating to the existence and visual appearance of internal characteristics of a diamond called inclusions, and surface defects called blemishes. Clarity is one of the four Cs of diamond grading, the others being carat, color, and cut. Inclusions may be crystals of a foreign material or another diamond crystal, or structural imperfections such as tiny cracks that can appear whitish or cloudy. The number, size, color, relative location, orientation, and visibility of inclusions can all affect the relative clarity of a diamond. A clarity grade is assigned based on the overall appearance of the stone under 10x magnification.
Gemstones Color: Other
A chemically pure and structurally perfect diamond is perfectly transparent with no hue, or color. However, in reality almost no gem-sized natural diamonds are absolutely perfect. The color of a diamond may be affected by chemical impurities and/or structural defects in the crystal lattice. Depending on the hue and intensity of a diamond's coloration, a diamond's color can either detract from or enhance its value. For example, most white diamonds are discounted in price when more yellow hue is detectable, while intense pink or blue diamonds (such as the Hope Diamond) can be dramatically more valuable. Out of all colored diamonds, red diamonds are the rarest.
Gemstones Cut: Baguette
Baguette Cut diamonds are usually cut long or in emerald shaped proportions. As a center stone, the proportions of a Baguette Cut diamond should be rectangular in shape. Baguette Cut diamonds are ideal if you are looking for oblique-shaped stones, used well when accompanying different shaped diamonds.

18k Yellow Gold
18k
18K also know as 750 because it is 75% pure gold. 18K is relatively the purest form of gold that we can use to manufacture quality diamond jewelry. An advantage of 18k is that it catches rhodium better then lower grades of gold. This gives 18K gold a much nicer white luster at first; but unfortunately when rhodium wears off 18K white gold is left looking yellowish and dull. However with yellow gold, 18k will retain the most high quality gold luster possible to practically use with diamond jewelry forever. 18k is heavy, precious, soft and should mostly be used in jewelry generally under 20 grams.

You can purchase a Rolex watch used and it can still come with its original documents. When purchasing a new or pre-owned Rolex there are three documents you need to look for: the instruction manual, the factory service booklet, and the warranty. The factory service booklet provides information on how to service and take care of your watch. The most important document, the warranty, provides the purchaser with the serial number, style of dial, materials information, the original certified dealer, name of purchaser and date of purchase. The warranty is the most important document because it authenticates the watch. Not all Rolex watches come with all three sets of papers. There can be instances when they have no documents at all, or just one or two out of three. Watches missing their warranty are of lesser value and are priced respectively. |

About Pre-owned Customized |

|
Customized diamond work, such as putting diamonds on the bezel or band of the watch, are an amazing way to embellish a beautiful Rolex watch. The official Rolex warranty is voided after diamonds are added to the band or the case of the watch. However if diamonds are added via removable bezel the warranty is still in effect. This is due to the fact that you can remove the aftermarket bezel and put in the factory bezel in its place.
If you choose to purchase a Rolex that has a voided warranty due to modification or an expired warranty, you don't have much to fear. All of our luxury brand watches come with TraxNYC's 1 year warranty. Our location in NYC's diamond district allows us to engage with expert watch craftsmen, some of which have personally worked for Rolex in Geneva, Switzerland. Rest assured -- TraxNYC will service your Rolex watch to the highest of standards. |
