Every custom piece starts with a deposit for the 3D design, and you approve the renderings first.
Custom jewelry for men and women: name, photo, initial and logo pendants, figures and faith pieces, rings, chains, bracelets and earrings. A new piece can be made in 10K, 14K or 18K gold in yellow, white or rose, in platinum or in .925 sterling silver, with natural or lab-grown diamonds or colored stones. How does custom jewelry work, from idea to finished piece?
You send the desk your idea, and it quotes the piece. Your deposit covers the 3D design; you approve its renderings, with up to three rounds of changes, then pay the balance, and the piece is made. The desk handles each project personally.
What should I send to start a custom piece?
Photos of what you have in mind help most, or a sketch, or the item number of a piece on this page. Add the metal and gold color, the size, diamonds or none, and for a name piece the exact spelling.
Will I see my custom design before it is made?
Yes. The deposit pays for a 3D design, and you see renderings of it before anything is made. You can ask for up to three rounds of changes; then you approve it and pay the balance.

How long does custom jewelry take to make?
Each piece is timed on its own, so put the question to the desk before any deposit is paid. Work begins once you approve the renderings and pay the balance. Need it for a date? Give the date in your first message.
Can I order a piece from this page with changes?
Ask the desk with its item number and what you want different: the name, the size, the gold or the stones. It tells you what can change and quotes it. A piece changed for you becomes custom work, so it is final.
Is custom jewelry here real gold, and are the diamonds real?
About nine in ten pieces here are solid karat gold, most of them 14K, and most of the rest are .925 silver. Nearly every diamond piece prints an origin, most of them natural and about one in eight lab-grown, both real diamonds. Ask the desk about the few with no origin line.
Can I return custom jewelry?
Custom, name and photo work is final, and so is any payment toward it. A piece already made and in the case returns within 14 calendar days of confirmed delivery, new, unworn and unaltered, on a label TraxNYC issues, less the 5 percent restocking fee and the return shipping. Ask the desk which yours is.
Is there a deposit for custom jewelry?
Yes. The deposit pays for the 3D design, and the balance is paid before the making. The desk quotes the starting figure and the deposit once it has your idea. Payments toward custom work are not refundable.
How much does custom jewelry cost?
Each listing prints its own price, except a few that ask for a quote. A new piece is quoted by the desk: the gold's karat and grams, the stones and the work set the figure. Ask on the live chat, or call 212-872-9692 from 10 AM ET.
